If you’re on the list, you’ll be the first to see what’s happening at the Homestead, and also get things that I won’t offer elsewhere.
Here’s your (standard) invitation:
Why you should join: BCLH has several social media profiles, as you can see in the footer below, and I’d love it if you also joined me there. The thing is, display and engagement tend to be low (10-14%) and can decrease anytime Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram decide to change their algorithm. If I share a pic, a blog post, an event, or a link, you won’t necessarily see it.
But if you’re on the list, you’ll get first crack at our events and more. You can expect every newsletter to have a mention of the latest blog post, an event (generally someone else’s), a research resource or a relevant news article I found, and a Q&A.
In fact, I want your questions so that I can answer them. If I don’t have a Q&A, then I’ll send out a DIY. I love DIYs!
I’ll also send the rare special offer (just for subscribers and their referrals) to reward you for recommending Rewilding for private and community projects.
And here’s my first: If you live in a central part of North America, you can receive a packet of planting-ready milkweed seeds by opting in, and replying to the confirmation message with your postal address.
One last thing: Because a newsletter is a lot of work to provide a lot of value, I have a set number of subscribers in mind before I begin it. Until I attain that number, I’ll email you only when there’s something really timely and relevant that you might like to receive.
If you’d like that to begin sooner rather than later, please share this opt-in form to your social media accounts!
Data Compliance and Privacy Statement
I’m using third parties to collect information about using this website, which is pretty inescapable these days. I have the following things tracking users anonymously:
Google Analytics, Facebook, Hotjar, Jetpack, Hustle, and Mailchimp. (There may be others, such as social media buttons that allow you to share to your network.)
I’ll know who you are if you sign up and engage with my email list (welcome!), and it’s so I can better serve you and others like you. Otherwise, all I know is if and when people use a particular part of the website.
Real businesses don’t sell email addresses and personal information.
